We weren’t expecting this special experience because we hadn’t encountered any other roofs in Crete; we adored viewing Chania from above!This elegant restaurant is ideal for a special occasion, a date night or simply for an unforgettable dinning experience. We first assumed that the rooftop’s amazing views of Chania were the restaurant’s main feature. We were mistaken, though, since dining at Pallas is just as incredible as watching the sun set over Chania from. The Pallas menu is varied and combines Mediterranean and Greek flavours.  The restaurant’s terrace overlooks the harbour and provides stunning sunset views. It’s the perfect place to unwind while sipping a fine wine and taking in Chania’s serene beauty. PS: RSV is needed prior visiting this charming Restaurant.

2. TAMAM Restaurant

TAMAM restaurant is housed in a structure that was constructed by the Venetians in 1400 A.D. as a public bath. When the Turks captured Chania in 1645, they continued to use the facility but made some minor architectural changes. Tamam founded in 1982 by a group of friends and its name was inspired by the similar sound music of hamam that led to tamam and its significane in Arabic languages meaning ‘all good’ seemed appropriate for the newborn restaurant. The menu features straightforward traditional Greek foods that have been created to please the senses. It is based on real rural cooking. Tamam is ideal for couples or small groups looking for a lively atmosphere for strong chats over delicious cuisine and drink. The outside eating area, with its ambiance down the tiny alley, is also noteworthy. It is wise to book ahead of visiting Tamam. For both meat eaters and vegans, there are many affordable solutions available.

3. Throumbi sti Ladokola

Throubi sti Ladokolla is a gastronomic jewel that perfectly encapsulates Cretan cuisine in each dish. It is located in the quaint town of Chania, Crete. This charming eatery is a tribute to the island’s rich culinary tradition with its rustic yet welcoming ambience. The welcoming staff will welcome you as soon as you walk in and will be happy to lead you on a gourmet adventure unlike any other.
